Agronomic chemistry at moscow university in the XIX – early XX centuries: chemical aspect. part 2. lectures, research and practical works on the analysis of agronomic crops

Abstract

Abstract. Based on the analysis of historical (including archival) documents, it is shown that the chemical aspect of teaching agricultural chemistry at Moscow University in 1890s – 1920s was quite significant. It included theoretical and practical training of students in analytical methods for determining the content of various substances in agronomic crops, as well as teaching some biochemical information (on the composition and structure of proteins etc.).
