| The famous Russian scientist, the leader in Colloid Chemistry in the USSR, and the founder of Physical-Chemical Mechanics, Petr Alexandrovich Rehbinder was the Head of the Chair of Colloid Chemistry, Chemistry Department, Moscow State University, and of the Division of Disperse Systems, Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He produced numerous contributions on different topics in colloid chemistry such as surface activity and surfactants, foams and emulsion stability, structure formation in disperse systems, and the Rehbinder effect. |
