Ivan D. Sorokin was born in 1986, March 3. Entered MSU in 2003, graduated cum laude in 2008. Laboratory's PhD student in 2008-2011.
Started working at the laboratory of chemical kinetics in 2005, where he completed two course papers (analytical and physical chemistry) and a diploma ("Photochemistry of methyloxirane radical cations, stabilized in freonic matrices at 77 K").
Teaches Physical Chemistry to second year students at MSU's Biology department. Chemistry teacher in Moscow School 45's IB classes.
Scientific Interests
Reactivity of radical cations, photochemistry of intermediates, EPR- and UV/Vis spectroscopy of intermediates, low-temperature chemistry
