A.N.Kost
(1915-1979)

            October 18^th, 2010 is the 95^th anniversary of the birth of Alexey Nikolaevich Kost, one of the greatest contemporary organic chemists, honored man of the Russian Federation in the field of science and technology, professor of Chemical Department of the M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University.

            The name of Alexey Nikolaevich Kost is widely known in the world. His disciples, friens, admirers remember this charming and pure person. It is not the overestimation to say that the school created by Alexey Nikolaevich is alive up to the present time. The evidence of this fact are regularly organized "Kost's readings" which gather a great audience of heterocyclic chemists. For all of us - disciples of Alexey Nikolaevich it is a creative report and this way we pay homage to professor Kost.
