The official language of the Conference is English. No simultaneous translation will be provided.
The Abstracts (no more than one page) should be sent in camera-ready form according to the following instructions:
Abstracts should be written in English. The Abstract submission instructions are listed in the typical abstract layout provided with this circular. The number of graphs is limited to one. In the left top of corner, some space (2.0x2.0 cm) should be left for the editors to insert the number.
The Abstract and the Abstract Submission Forms should be sent to the Organizing Committee by mail to the following address:
Dr. Anton L.Maximov (MMC-X)
Department of Chemistry, Moscow State University, Leninskie Gory, Moscow, 119992, Russia
The Abstract will be reproduced exactly as submitted in the Book of Abstracts, which will be available at the symposium. The price is included in the registration fee. Abstracts will be accepted also in ELECTRONIC FORM. Files in .rtf (preferably), .doc (Microsoft Word for PC) or .pdf formats should be mailed as an attached file to the Organizing Committee (max@petrol.chem.msu.ru). They must be received not later than February 1, 2003. The name of the file should consist of the presenting corresponding author surname (for example Ivanov.rtf).
Contributed papers for oral and poster sessions will be selected by the International Scientific Program Committee on the basis of the submitted abstracts. Authors will be notified by e-mail.
Overhead projector, slides (5 cm x 5 cm) or viewer (Microsoft PowerPoint) will be available for oral presentation. Speakers will be informed about the duration of their talk by the Organizing Committee.
The display area size will be 1.0 m wide and 1.2 m high. The competition for the best presentation made by a young researcher will be organized in the framework of the poster sessions.
Authors of plenary and invited lectures will be offered the opportunity to publish the manuscript in a special issue of Macromolecular Symposia shortly after the symposium. To ensure rapid publication, it is requested that manuscripts be handed to the scientific secretary on the first day of the symposium. In order to get the manuscript reviewed rapidly, the authors should provide the names and addresses of three competent potential reviewers at the time the manuscript is submitted. Guidelines for authors will be supplied by the publisher.
The registration/information desk will be located in the Registration Hall aboard the boat and will be open for the duration of the conference from 9.30 to 22.00 except during the excursions.
The registration fee covers all scientific activities of the Symposium and a copy of the Book of Abstracts and include the Mixer party, Welcome Reception and morning and afternoon refreshments (tee and coffee)
